Greetings,
You may consider this an exercise to satisfy my curiosity. Recently I had the good fortune of meeting with Caleb Cunningham, minister for the Salem congregation, and from our discussion flowed an idea that sparked my attention. Surely, the congregations of the Lord's church in Florence, Alabama are blessed with some of the most zealous, God glorifying, biblically sound preachers in the United States. It is also the case that each week perhaps hundreds of lessons, sermons and devotionals are being prepared and delivered to members of the church in this area. I cannot begin to imagine how many well-thought, well-planned ideas could also be shared with other ministers. For this cause, I have chosen to give this BLOG a try.
The intention is simple. I would ask that you send lessons, outlines, sermon ideas, illustrations, invitations and even papers, articles and scholarly articles to me from time to time. I will work to post these materials on this site and thus, the site will become a tool for those in the area who are always desiring to find fresh thoughts and relavent materials.
You may send your submissions to: Jamespreaches@aol.com or Jamespreaches@gmail.com and I will be certain to review, format and post your file onto this site. Who knows how many lives our lessons may continue to touch utilizing a site of this nature.
